Three of our members, Tony Shaw, Andy Cartwright and Craig Shaw of Cantilupe Lodge 4083 have set off on their cycle journey from Land’s End to John O’Groats, raising money for our Charity Association. Our Provincial Charity Steward Tim Bridgland-Taylor has already been in touch with all the Provinces on the route, and many grateful thanks to those Provinces which have already responded with offers of help and/or support.
The schedule is:
Fri 28th April Leg 1: Land’s Ends to Minions Cornwall – 85 Miles.
Sat 29th April Leg 2: Minions to Taunton Somerset – 87 Miles. Stopover at World’s End pub motorhome stopover
Sun 30th April Leg 3: Taunton to Tewkesbury Glos – 120 Miles. Stopover at Tewkesbury Masonic Hall
Mon 1st May Leg 4: Tewkesbury to Winsford Cheshire – 113 Miles. Stopover at The Belle Inn motorhome pub stopover
Tue 2nd May Leg 5: Winsford to Caton Lancs – 103 Miles. Stopover at The Station Hotel, Caton
Then they go into Scotland:
Wed 3rd May Leg 6: Caton to Moffat Dumfries & Galloway – 103 Miles
Thur 4th May Leg 7: Moffat to Callandar – 103 Miles
Fri 5th May Leg 8: Callandar to Fort Augustus – 127 Miles
Sat 6th May Leg 9: Fort Augustus to Altnahara – 117 Miles
Sun 7th May Leg 10: Altnahara to John O’ Groats – 75 Miles
