HMCA Supports BlackMarston School

BlackMarston school enjoyed a magical moment as Rose Hunt opened the school library and then accepted flowers, cards and a certificate for her long-service as Chair of Governors at the school. The School Council then enjoyed the new furnishings and mural created by local artist Sara McKee and purchased using a bequest to the school by Miss E Passey and a donation from the Hereford Freemasons.

Also in attendance were current Chair of Governors, Andrew Firth and his Guest, Emma, Denise Knill, Clerk to Governors and Mr Dennis Cox on behalf of the Freemasons.

The Herefordshire Masonic Charitable Association (HMCA) on receiving a request for funds to support the purchase of books for a new library within the BlackMarston School in Hereford agreed to support this worthy cause. BlackMarston is a state-funded, co-educational, special school for children between 2 and 11 years of age. The school caters exclusively for children who have special educational needs (SEN).
