Eastor Lodge members decided to set themselves the challenge of hiking up Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike & Snowdon over 3 days in 20-23 June 2023.
Whilst they are not the youngest of hikers they decided this approach was safer, but still a challenge! with all the driving in between also being done by the team.
They are hoping to raise funds primarily through their Just Giving Page. All monies to be split equally across, 2 local charities, Ledbury Food Bank (www.ledburyfoodbank.org) and We are Farming Minds (www.wearefarmingminds.co.uk) Also the Herefordshire Masonic Charity Association which has a further reach across Herefordshire. All the funds will be processed through Eastnor’s Charitable trust which enables them to maximise any gift Aid donations.
As Freemasons caring and supporting the local communities is central to their purpose and know that many in the current climate are in need of support, so they would like to do their part.
By gaining your support they can make an impact to those in need and make a small difference. Your sponsorship will encourage them to get out and train in the coming months and will help us in June when those hills seem ever so big…….
