St Peter’s Clay Shoot in aid of Festival

On 25th May St Peter’s Lodge held its annual clay pigeon shoot at The Hill Farm, Castle Frome. On a glorious summer day 40 individuals of varying standards took part under the supervision of Bob Latimer, and the Fir Tree Clay Pigeon Club, who are based in the wood on the farm. Blackmarston School unveils its new bus

Blackmarston School has unveiled its new bus, in front of an audience of donors, staff, and children at their premises in Hereford. Nearly half of the £60,000 cost of the bus was provided from Masonic sources. Local Freemasons have continued their long-standing support for Hereford Riding for the Disabled with a donation of £1,100. £1,000 of this comes from the members of the Herefordshire Province as a whole, through the Herefordshire Masonic Charity Association, and £100 from the members of Coningsby Lodge in Hereford. Freemasons give £45,000 to victims of southern African cyclone

The Masonic Charitable Foundation has issued the following press release: Thousands of people across Mozambique, Malawi and Zimbabwe whose lives have been devastated by Cyclone Idai will be given access to clean water, as well as tarpaulins, plastic sheets and other emergency supplies, thanks to a grant from the Masonic Charitable Foundation, the Freemasons’ charity. The money is being donated to Plan International UK which is working to help survivors, including young women and children, who are at particular risk.
