Gardening

Many thanks to all those brethren who submitted entries to the Provincial Gardening Competition 2020.  When we suggested this competition, we were uncertain as to whether people would respond in any number.  However, we have been encouraged by the number of participants and by their efforts.  We feel and hope that, if people would like to do this again, we are more than willing to run a similar event next year. We would probably have a different theme as this

The submissions for the gardening competition are all in and the judges, RW Bro Rodney Smallwood PPGM and Mrs Christine Holland the wife of RW Bro Michael Holland our Provincial Grand Master have a very hard job to do sorting out from the diverse selection below 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Recent events mean that we have not been able to meet face to face at Lodge meetings, but the flipside being there has been more time to spend in our gardens. By now, I am sure many of you will have gardens to rival the National Trust! As a reward for your labours we are holding a Gardening Competition with the following prizes.  1. A Bottle of Single Malt,  2. A Bottle of Southern Comfort, 3. A Bottle of Quality
