During the pandemic, Freemason Lodge meetings as with all other social gatherings had to be curtailed. As a result many of the Lodge Worshipful Masters had to stay in position for longer than expected. A term of office would normally be for one year only. W Bro Philip Burgess’s two year term ended in January with the handover to his successor W Bro Roger Douglass. During Philip’s term he noticed that the Lodge needed a cushion for the Volume of Scared Law and so at the Palladian Lodge meeting on 3rd February this year, W Bro Phillip Burgess presented to his successor, W Bro Roger Douglass, a new Bible Cushion. To be used at all future Lodge meetings.
