Help the Air Ambulance

A call to action from W Bro Nick Swan. As I’m sure you are aware the Midlands Air Ambulance helicopters and crews have been just as busy as ever during the pandemic – therefore the amount they need to fundraise has not fallen!
The Midlands Air Ambulance has been running for 30 years and to commemorate their Air30 anniversary year, they have launched the Air 30 Rapid Response Raffle, with an amazing top prize of £3,000, plus lots of additional cash prizes to be won. This will be drawn on their 30th birthday – on Friday 21st May. If you would like some raffle tickets please contact Nick Swan who will be able to obtain them for you. They are also offering the tickets on line, which is so much easier for us all! Please consider buying one (£1), or several to help them – or please feel free to pass on the information to family or friends. Click here for tickets.

OYEZ-OYEZ-OYEZ

Be it known that I, Bro. Peder Nielsen of St. Peter’s Lodge 7368 in Bromyard in the county of Herefordshire, am not only the official Town Crier of that aforesaid town but also the official Town Crier for the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity and I welcome the Province’s notification to all the Brethren of the Rapid Response Raffle.

I wish also to draw attention to a forthcoming M.A.A.C. event in the shape of a walk of approximately 150 miles to be undertaken by a Charity Volunteer who will visit a number of M.A.A.C.’s shops and the three airfields from which the helicopters are despatched. The walk will commence on Sunday 9th May in Walsall and terminate on Friday 14th at M.A.A.C.’s Strensham airbase. I will attend at the shops in Walsall, Newcastle-under Lyme and Wellington as well as at Hagley Hall where, 30 years ago, M.A.A.C. came to life.

Should any Brother have a few coppers left after contributing towards the raffle I’m sure M.A.A.C. would be very grateful.
GOD SAVE THE QUEEN
Peder Nielsen. M.A.H.G.T.C.
