South wales provincial golf tournament
Ten players from the Herefordshire Provincial Golf Society were really pleased to be invited to play in the South Wales Provincial Golf Tournament at Coed y Mwstwr golf club in Bridgend. With the sunny weather, good company and the course in excellent condition, the teams had a great day. In addition to a great welcome from our hosts and club staff provided fantastic food and hospitality.
Herefordshire Provincial Golf Society’s President, Michael Holland, unfortunately on this occasion was unable to play. However he was very supportive in cheering the three Herefordshire teams on. Individual and team stableford competitions where competed by Craft and Mark lodges from several provinces. The stableford team winners trophy went home to a Warwickshire Mark Lodge.

Unfortunately, through self isolations and work commitments, our team numbers suffered but on a positive note It was great to welcome a new member from St Peters lodge, Bro Dave Griffiths who actually went on to win the individual stableford competition. The putting competition prize also went back to Herefordshire with, W.Bro Alastair Ross from Vitruvian Lodge.
