Can you help the members of Eastnor Lodge with their collection of goods to support the Ukrainian refugees? The members of Eastnor Lodge will be manning a collection drop off point next Saturday 14th May at Kyrle Street between 10am & 12 noon, to collect donations that will be transported to Ukrainian refugees by local man Mr Guy Bodger from Ledbury whom the Lodge is supporting.
Eastnor Lodge was recently contacted by Mr Guy Bodger who has been organising and delivering relief aid for Ukrainian refugees. Guy has carried out two trips so far, co-ordinated supplies, transport, and drivers to deliver two van loads of much needed food, clothing, and medical supplies to exactly where it is needed most in Romania. He has recently been in touch with a charity in Moldova, Caritas Moldova, https://caritas.md/ . As you may be aware Moldova is one of the poorest countries in Europe and is struggling to cope with the influx of refugees. The following supplies are urgently required:
• Canned meat and vegetables
• Pasta
• Hygiene products (baby’s nappies etc. Ladies etc)
• Underwear for women and children
• Spring clothing for women, and children from 1 to 14 years
• Spring shoes for children up to 14 years
• A4 Printing paper (This all comes from UKRAINE, so is in very short supply & is needed for the paperwork used in helping refugees from the crisis)
