Eastnor Lodge at Ledbury Community Day

Eastnor Lodge recently took part in Ledbury’s Community Day, and here’s a report from David Sparrey, Charity Steward of the Lodge:

Ledbury recently hosted a Community Day in the Town, when more than 80 local organisations came together to tell the general public just what they all do.

Eastnor Lodge No 751 took a stand in St Katherine’s Hall to showcase the good works done by Eastnor Lodge Charitable Trust.

David Sparrey, Administrator for the Trust and Charity Steward for Eastnor Lodge, ably assisted by the Master of the Lodge, Gethin Jenkins and Gordon Mander were able to answer questions and network with other local groups.

The response from the day was really excellent and several groups enquired about how they could apply for funding.

The Lodge display highlighted past donations and advertised next year’s Provincial Calendar 2020.

The public were very interested to hear about all the very positive actions delivered to the community by Freemasonry.

Eastnor Lodge has already booked its free space at next year’s Community Day.

The Charitable Trust was recently able to support the Ledbury Community Day with a donation to help with communications equipment, used for the first time at this event.
