Arrow Lodge opera evening – another great success

Arrow Lodge has again held a very successful opera evening, featuring W Bro Terence Payen’s niece Felicity and friends, this time in the newly refurbished Hereford Suite at Hereford Football Club. Terence himself, owner and chef of The Corners Inn in Kingsland, cooked another excellent meal, carved and served at the table by, amongst others, our Provincial Grand Master Designate, VW Bro Michael Holland.

In his thanks at the end of the evening VW Bro Michael warmly congratulated Terence on his efforts and then particularly thanked Felicity and her two supporters for an outstanding performance which entertained everyone. Their first half was devoted to well-known operatic arias and then in the second half they brought songs from the shows. All was well received by the brethren, their ladies and guests.

He also thanked David and Ethel Joyce for all they had done to organise such a lovely occasion. Ethel presented Felicity with a big bouquet to thank her for making the evening such as success.

The event was organised by the Arrow Masonic Club, and the proceeds will be split between the 2020 Festival and the Arrow Building Fund.
