At their April 2019 meeting, Palladian Lodge presented a cheque for £600 to MacMillan Nurses. Accepting the cheque on behalf of the charity, Paddy Nugent thanked Palladian Lodge for their generosity, saying:
“Thank you for inviting me to receive the cheque for £600 to help the work of the Macmillan Nurse team here at St Michael’s Hospice. This is a very generous gesture and yet another sign of the bond of friendship and support between your Lodge and the team here at the hospice. Our work continues to expand and the support that the Macmillan team and our team provide could simply not continue without the ongoing generous help from all parts of our community including the significant support we get from all the Masonic Lodges here in Herefordshire.
