At Palladian Lodge, the Deputy Leader of Freemasonry in Herefordshire Graham King presented a 50 year Certificate to Dennis King, aged 94 years.
Dennis, more commonly known as Bill, was initiated into The Lodge of Temperance and Benevolence, No 1160, meeting in London, on 10th October 1970 and remains a member to this day.
Bill moved to Hereford in 1976 and joined Palladian Lodge 120 on 4th March 1976, and was Charity Steward from 2001 to 2011. He received London Grand Rank in 1990, and Provincial Grand Rank of Past Provincial Grand Sword Bearer in 2007. He was further promoted to Past Provincial Senior Grand Warden in 2021. Bill also became a member of Royal Arch Chapter, having been exalted into the Fortitude Chapter No 229 in London and became a joining member of Gloucestershire and Herefordshire Chapter of first Principals in April 2008. We wish Bill many more years in Freemasonry.
